History of UNO

Uno means 'one' in Spanish and Italian languages. Uno is an American card game developed by Merle Robbins in 1971 in the state of Ohio. Gaming conglomerate Mattel then aquired the game's rights in the year 1992. The game is very similar to that of 'crazy eights' where you try to speedily discard your cards faster than your opponent. The game has been a househould staple for decades since its release.


Rules of the game

To begin, seven cards must be dealt to each player. The top card of the deck is then flipped and becomes the starting card for the discard pile. The player to the left of the dealer goes first. Players can then,
